Spooky Season!!!

• It's that time of year and the Vale has gone all dark and spooky for October >:3! There's a brand new Spooky Season theme with a big moon, some bats hanging about, autumn leaves and a bit of low fog along the bottom of the page. Your nav icons go all pumpkin-y to match too, and it works with whichever icon set you already use (Default, Pastel or Slate), so nobody has to give up their favorite!
• To try it: Settings > Display Settings > Theme > Spooky Season, then hit Save!

Spooky Season 2026 Badge:

• Switch to the Spooky Season theme even once before November 1st and you'll earn the Spooky Season 2026 badge! It's only around for October, so once it's gone, it's gone until next year's (which will be a brand new one, so you can start a little collection <3)

Flair!:

• There's a brand new Flair tab in your Settings! The Spooky Season badge unlocks:
• Three avatar frames: Pumpkin Vine, Candlelit and Moonlit Bramble
• A little witch hat for your avatar (wear it with any frame, or on its own!)
• Three name styles: Lantern Glow, Candy Corn and Witchlight
• Your flair shows up on your profile, in the forums, on the Members page and in Vale Chat, so everyone gets to see your spooky little self
• AND you get to keep it forever, even after Halloween is over! Pumpkin frame in July? Absolutely, go for it

November 1st:

• When October ends, the Spooky Season theme packs itself up and puts you right back on whatever theme you had before. You don't need to do anything! Your badge and your flair stay put though, those are yours now

Blank Canvas!!

• Blank Canvas is our new shared drawing space! Hop into a room and doodle together with other members of the Vale in real time, and chat while you paint! Draw your dollies, draw your friend's dollies, draw a very concerning potato, the canvas is yours <3
• There are brushes, a pencil, a watercolor tool, an eraser, lines and shapes, layers, and a color picker with a little palette
• The nav shows when people are in there drawing, so you can see at a glance if a room's busy instead of wandering into an empty one
• And yes, if you're on Spooky Season, the drawing rooms go spooky too! The canvas itself stays nice and plain though, so your colors still look right while you paint

Asema finally got his cross earring! I love this doll so much. R Hyperon was a grail and I got him for a steal! $450! I wiped his company faceup because it didn't suit my OC 😬 but this doll has finally found himself thanks to @saphar_bjd / @saphar_bjd_tailoring on IG for reaching out to make his jacket, which is real leather so I don't have to worry about it falling apart in the future. I made his wig and the headband, necklace and cross earring were the final pieces to make him whole. He is my 3rd favorite doll after Uriel and Rai. I get all the happy feelings when I hold him and look at him. His OC is also one of my favorites. He is a werewolf who was turned by a vampire against his will. I can't wait to get The Vampires of Los Angeles: Infernal Hunger out! I love this story so much and I hope that you will too! #thevampiresofla
