Why are there no Feeple60 Lookback Woosoo?

The Delf line is one of the most historically significant resin doll lines in the hobby. They have been out of print for a long time, and so a lot of people are on the lookout for these dolls, some more rare than others.

Delfs were sold by Luts and sculpted by Cerberus Project, a sculpting team that later became part of Fairyland. The Delf line originally consisted of 60 cm resin dolls with distinctive stylized features that became iconic within the early hobby. Luts owned the Delf brand name, while Cerberus Project retained the rights to the sculpt designs. This division of ownership explains why Fairyland later released Feeple versions of former Delf heads while Luts continued to use the Delf name for new, non CP sculpts.

Cerberus Project began releasing sculpts through Luts in the early 2000s. Many of the most recognizable Delfs, such as Soony, were released during this period. During these years, Luts served as the primary distributor for CP sculpts, including both Delf and Minifee lines. Minifee Shiwoo, released in May 2006, is an example of a CP sculpt sold through Luts before the transition.

The shift between Luts and Cerberus Project did not occur as a single event. Instead, it unfolded gradually between 2006 and 2011. The first major change occurred in January 2008 when Luts discontinued the CP Minifee line. On January 25, 2008, Minifees reappeared for sale under CP Fairyland, marking the point at which Fairyland became the primary sales space for Cerberus Project. From that moment forward, CP sculpts were sold through Fairyland rather than Luts, although Luts continued to sell Delfs because they owned the brand name.

The final separation point for Delf production occurred in November 2011 when Luts discontinued the CP Delf line entirely. After this date, Luts continued producing Delfs using their own in-house sculptors, while Fairyland continued producing CP sculpts under the Minifee and Feeple lines. Cerberus Project and Fairyland remained connected, with Fairyland functioning as the commercial outlet for CP's sculpting work. Luts and CP did not have a formal split in the sense of a single documented event. Instead, the transition was a gradual reorganization of sales channels and brand ownership that took place over several years. The result is a sculpt lineage that remains intertwined, with many collectors recognizing Feeple and Minifee heads as direct descendants of the original Delf sculpts.

Even though there are lookback versions, there is one popular doll that can't be re-released in the feeple6- line. Feeple60 Woosoos cannot exist for one very simple reason. Cerberus Project never sculpted a Woosoo head in the Feeple scale, and Fairyland cannot legally create one now because of how the rights are divided between Luts and CP.
